Scottish Head Chef Keith Stewart has been serving classic European cooking at The Dog & Fox for the past six years. His passion for top quality seasonal produce is reflected in our ever evolving menus, and the choice to always serve foods that make the most of the British Farmer's Larder.
"After a lengthy stint in Australia alongside a great group of well known chefs, I made my way back to Blighty with the goal of adding a splash of Pacific Rim influence to modern European dishes. But more than ever I believe in the celebration of our great British pub fare. In recent years Gastro chefs have been guilty of 'over-chefing' their menus with technical terms, but if you cook in a classic style sometimes only classic dishes & descriptions will suffice. After all, if you can't put together a blinding fish & chips, why bother!"
